MyCEDoc — CEDoc UM6P

Terms and Conditions

The use of the MyCEDoc platform, accessible at mycedoc.um6p.ma (hereinafter the “Platform”), implies the full and complete acceptance of these terms and conditions of access and use (hereinafter the “Terms”) by the user (hereinafter the “User”).

The MyCEDoc Platform is the intranet of the Center for Doctoral Studies (hereinafter “CEDoc”), a department of University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (hereinafter “UM6P” or “We”). The terms “Publisher”, “CEDoc”, “UM6P” or “We” designate UM6P, acting through its Center for Doctoral Studies. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Purpose of the Platform

MyCEDoc is a private platform reserved for the CEDoc community — PhD students, thesis directors and co-directors, professors, scientists, committees, administrative teams and partners. It is designed to manage the doctoral journey and, in particular, to collect the information and supporting documents required to generate official documents, such as scholarship contracts, academic certificates and attestations, orders of mission, and thesis-defense related documents.

Access and Eligibility

Access to the Platform is restricted to authorized members holding a valid UM6P institutional account. Authentication is performed through these institutional (Outlook) accounts. Each account is strictly personal: Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and must not share their access with any third party.

Access is granted after the User completes their profile and, where applicable, after verification by the CEDoc team.

Accuracy of Information and User Responsibility

To use the Platform, the User must complete their profile with accurate, complete and up-to-date information. The documents generated by the Platform rely directly on the data provided by the User (for example: civil-status details, bank details/RIB, and thesis information).

The User is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit. Any error, omission or outdated information may affect the validity of the documents issued and remains the User’s responsibility. The User undertakes to update their information whenever necessary.

Protection of Personal Data

The personal data collected through the Platform is processed in accordance with Law No. 09-08 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and in accordance with the authorization granted by the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP). The way we collect and process this data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Acceptable Use

The User undertakes to:

  • use the Platform lawfully and for its intended purpose only;
  • not attempt to access data, accounts or functionalities they are not authorized to use;
  • not disrupt, damage or overload the Platform, nor circumvent its security measures;
  • not upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of third parties.

Documents Generated by the Platform

Documents generated through the Platform (including contracts, certificates, attestations and orders of mission) may carry official value and may include a means of verification, such as a QR code or an online verification link. Any falsification, alteration or fraudulent use of these documents is strictly prohibited and may give rise to disciplinary and/or legal action.

Intellectual Property

The Platform and all of its elements (texts, interfaces, logos, databases, etc.) are the exclusive property of UM6P / CEDoc. Any reproduction or distribution, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written authorization. Documents and content that Users submit remain associated with their file for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. UM6P strives to keep it accessible and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may suspend access for maintenance or security reasons. UM6P declines all responsibility for errors, temporary unavailability, or direct and/or indirect damages related to the use of the Platform, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Cookies

The Platform uses cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and for maintaining your session. These cookies are required for the Platform to function and do not serve advertising purposes.

Updates

UM6P / CEDoc reserves the right to modify and update the Platform and these Terms at any time. Any modification takes effect upon publication. By continuing to use the Platform, the User accepts the updated Terms.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The Platform is governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, only the Moroccan courts shall have jurisdiction.
